The primary purpose of the Freight Access Working Group was to gather input from local businesses and community members about freight issues, including barriers to freight mobility and negative impacts of freight movement or facilities. 

The first and last meetings of the working group considered the freight system as a whole and examined, in turn, policies, needs and possible future projects.  The middle two meetings focused specifically on North Industrial area freight access improvements.
