The City of Milwaukie is required to maintain a stormwater monitoring plan to show the city’s programs are effective at improving the quality of stormwater runoff into local streams within the City of Milwaukie’s service area. The monitoring plan is a key, mandatory component of the City’s stormwater permit issued by DEQ.
As a requirement of the City of Milwaukie Municipal Separate Storm Sewer (MS4) NPDES permit that was reissued on March 15, 2011, the City is required to provide the public the opportunity to comment on their stormwater monitoring plan.
The public comment period will last until June 6, 2011.
