Summary

Drop in any time between 3:30 and 6:30!

Attention residential property owners! Are you thinking about:

  • Developing or redeveloping your residential property?
  • Adding on to your house?
  • Converting your garage to living space?
  • Adding an accessory dwelling unit (also known as "granny flats" or "mother-in-law units") to your property?
  • Building an accessory structure, such as a detached garage or tool shed?
  • Adding sustainability features to your property, such as water cisterns, a wind turbine, or solar panels?

The City is hosting an informal question and answer session about proposed amendments to the residential development and design regulations of the Zoning Ordinance, which will affect the standards that apply to residential development and redevelopment. Drop in anytime to talk to staff about the proposed amendments and how your property might be affected. If this time does not work for you, contact Li Alligood at 503-786-7627 or alligoodl@ci.milwaukie.or.us to set up another time to discuss the proposal.

See http://www.ci.milwaukie.or.us/planning/residential-development-standards-update-project to view the proposed amendments and background documents.
