Purpose
The Planning Commission's responsibilities include making recommendations to the City Council regarding zoning and any long range planning activities that require Council approval. The Commission is also the decision making authority on Type III review land use proposals, including Variance and Conditional Use requests.
The Commission generally meets on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of each month at 6:30pm in the City Hall Council Chambers.

Membership
Commission vacancies are filled by appointment by City Council. Appointments are made for terms not to exceed four years and will expire the last day of March unless mandated otherwise by state statute. All commissioners serve without compensation.
