Review Bodies
Milwaukie has two review bodies that review development and land use applications:
The Planning Commission reviews land use applications that require Type III review (e.g., variances and conditional uses). It reviews and makes a recommendation to City Council on applications for zone changes and amendments to the Zoning, Sign, and Land Division chapters of the Municipal Code.
Design and Landmarks Committee
The Design and Landmarks Committee (DLC) reviews Design Review applications, and makes recommendations to the Planning Commission.
