Light Rail Open House set for March 4th at Rose Villa from 5:30 to 7:30pm

Soon TriMet and Metro will begin work on Preliminary Engineering (PE) and the Final Environmental Impact Statement (FEIS) for Portland to Milwaukie Light Rail.

PE develops a basic design for all of the elements of the project, like the alignment, stations and bridge type. The product of this phase will be a 30% design for the entire project.

Some Milwaukie issues to be addressed in the FEIS include impacts to Kronberg Park and traffic and visual traffic impacts in the Downtown area.

An Open House explaining these processes will be held Wednesday, March 4th from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. in Fellowship Hall at Rose Villa, located at 13505 SE River Road.

To receive periodic project updates via email logon to TriMet’s website at TriMet.org and visit http://www.trimet.org/pm/index.
