If you have a seat belt violation you are eligible for a seat belt class if it is your first seat belt offense and you have not attended the class previously. You must appear in person on or before your court date to sign up for the class. You will be required to pay a $50 court dismissal fee and the cost of the class is $20 and must be paid at the time you take the class. Once you complete the class you will be given a certificate of completion. That certificate must be provided to the court within 30 days from the date you request to take the class. Once the court receives the certificate your fine will be dismissed.
If you do not want to take the seatbelt class then you can pay the fine online or by mail.
