Portland Parks and Recreation has closed the Springwater Corridor Bridge for repairs.
Erosion has destabilized the trail bridge over Johnson Creek, just east of SE 45 Ave. Repair work will begin on Monday, January 14, but the bridge will remain open on that day. The bridge must be closed and a detour put in place for trail users beginning Tuesday, January 15. The detour will be about 500 yards on Johnson Creek Blvd. Trail users are urged to exercise caution when navigating the detour onto Johnson Creek Blvd. We anticipate the detour to remain in place for up to 10 days until repairs are completed.
