Milwaukie residents can now pay their utility bill, view their water consumption and payment history, and request a variety of other utility services through the City’s website.
“We’re trying to make our website a tool our citizens can use to take care of everyday business,” Mayor Jeremy Ferguson said. “And the more services we can provide, the more people are going to visit our site and see all of the other great things we have going on in our town.”
All Milwaukie utility customers need to create an online account is their utility account number found on their monthly statement and the dollar amount of their last payment. The online bill pay tab is under the Eservices pull down menu on the homepage’s upper right hand corner.
Once an account is created, customers can use a credit or debit card to pay their utility bill. Customers will be able to see how much water they’ve used in the past by selecting specific consumption periods, request a water meter leak check, close an account, or turn off their meter while they’re away on vacation.
The City will soon be adding paperless utility billing and online court payments to its package of E-Services.
