City Council unanimously approved a budget for the next fiscal year on June 7, 2011 that, as recommended by the Citizen Utility Advisory Board, includes utility rate increases that will result in an average overall 9% increase, or extra $5.40, every month.
The increases will pay for maintenance and improvement projects to the City's aging water, wastewater, and stormwater systems. For more information, please see the fact sheet attatched below.
