Budget Review Board

Budget Review Board

The Budget Review Board members meet periodically throughout the year to review budget and financial information. The official presentation and review of the Proposed Budget occurs when the budget is presented to the full Budget Committee (Budget Review Board plus Council members) and its first meeting in the Spring.  It is at that time, that the Proposed Budget is presented, publicly available, and the full Budget Committee begins their review of the budget presented by the City Manager.

By State Law, the Budget Committee may approve the proposed budget intact, or change part or all of it prior to final approval. After notices and publications are filed according to local budget law, the "approved" budget is forwarded to the council for formal "adoption" prior to June 30.  However, throughout the year, the citizen members of the Budget Committee (i.e., the Budget Review Board) continue to meet and discuss budget challenges and issues in anticipation of preparing the Proposed Budget.

The current Budget Review Board members are:

  • Jeffrey Dondino
  • John Fox
  • Ron Palmer
  • Jon Stoll
  • Gabe Storm
