Trolley Trail work enters Milwaukie, impacts travel on McLoughlin Boulevard

Mon Oct 24th, 2011

Work on the Trolley Trail - the six-mile long multiuse path that connects Milwaukie to Gladstone - is entering our City's limits and there will be some associated traffic delays on McLoughlin Boulevard.

As part of the work on Segment 1 of the Trail, from Kellogg Creek to River Road, construction contractor Elting Northwest Inc. will start work on Highway 99E (McLoughlin Boulevard), from Kellogg Creek to 22nd Avenue. This will include single-lane closures of the southbound travel lane closest to the curb. Work on Segment 1 is expected to continue through November. Those traveling south on McLoughlin Boulevard between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. can expect delays and may want to consider taking an alternate route.
