The City of Milwaukie is a part of the North Clackamas Parks and Recreation District and all City parks are operated and maintained by the District under an intergovernemental agreement.
The City's Park and Recreation Board (PARB) provides input and guidance to City Council and the North Clackamas Parks and Recreation Advisory Board on recreation and park facility priorities in the City. City park operation and maintenance issues not handled by the District are the responsibility of JoAnn Herrigel, the City's Director of Parks and Sustainability.
Use of most Milwaukie parks is on a first come, first served basis. Use of facilities at North Clackamas Park does require reservations. Contact the District at 503-794-8013, for information on this park.
