The Hector Campbell Neighborhood District Association (NDA) is an officially recognized NDA in the City of Milwaukie.
The Hector Campbell NDA maintains their own website. Please visit it here: http://www.hectorcampbellnda.org/
A few of the most recent programs and events in the Hector Campbell Neighborhood primarily funded by Milwaukie's Neighborhood Grant Program include:
-
Development of Homewood Park - Neighborhood volunteers have worked very hard to remove invasive species, install a walking path and benches, and are working on the development of a play area for children.
-
The installation of a new and safer public walking path along Home Avenue from Hunter Court to Wilma Circle through the Walk Safely Milwaukie Program (WSMP).
-
The Hector Cambell Community Garden at Campbell Elementary School.
-
Minthorn Springs - The neighborhood has done much work in this area to remove invasive species and reinvigorate the area with native plants.
-
Open Space at 37th and Monroe - This project took an empty corner and turned it into a small pocket park with dogwood trees, plants, benches, and other landscaping.
