The City of Milwaukie is wrapping up a project that brings sewer service to the unincorporated area to the Northeast of the City's current boundary. This is a resource for residents in the area interseted in connecting, and provides information about the construction.
For decades the City of Milwaukie and Clackamas County have planned to bring sewer service to the unincorporated parts of North Clackamas County. The City's project (with the exception of Westfork Avenue) is complete -- the City of Milwaukie has installed sewer lines to serve about 220 properties to the northeast of the City's current boundary. This site is for residents and property owners of this area to learn more about the project, and to help them navigate the hooking up and annexation process. Annexation is required prior to connecting to the City sewer system.
Project News and Construction Updates
On March 15, City Council finalized the Reimbursement District, assigning a reimbursement fee to each property in the area. The Resolution and attached Engineering Director's report is available on-line. The associated staff report is also availble.
The NESE Project's formal completion date was March 1, 2011. For more detailed information about the construction and implementation of the new sewer lines, please visit the Engineering Department's project page.
