Every year the Rotary Club of Milwaukie invites the Mayor to present the State of the City Address to members and the community. This tradition, started in 2001, provides a way for members to become more informed regarding local issues.
The Rotary Club of Milwaukie is a service organization that meets weekly at the Odd Fellows Lodge for lunch to hear guest speakers and collaborate on projects. Rotary's motto is "Service above self".
Members of the Rotary Club of Milwaukie represent a cross-section of the community’s owners, leaders, executives, managers, political leaders and professionals – people who make decisions and influence policy. Membership is open to anyone interested. Milwaukie members engage in a broad range of local and international service projects and enjoy social activities together.
