    Friends of the Ledding Library of Milwaukie will hold their annual Book Sale June 21-22-23 from 9 a.m. to 4 pm. at the Waldorf School gym, 2300 SE Harrison Street in Milwaukie. This year, a feature will be the “Early Bird Special” a special early opening at 8 a.m. on June 21 for members of the Friends. Memberships can be purchased at the door.

    Thanks to the generous support of the community and the fund-raising efforts of the Milwaukie Public Safety Foundation, K-9 Officer-in-training Les Hall brought down his new partner, Yago, from a Washington kennel to his new home in Milwaukie on May 24, 2013.
